Welcome to Norvane Industries
Scan your personal QR code. You will find it in the 9ID app on your phone, or in your mail.
The kiosk is where a person checks in and out. Every arrival follows the same five steps: identify, authorize, comply, check in, provision.
The person is identified first. Most scan the QR code from their invite or type the magic code from the email. At a gate that admits strangers, they can identify with a phone number, an email address or an ID document instead. The kiosk then checks that the person is expected and allowed in this zone now. It confirms their visit, or lets them start one where the gate allows it.
Next the person completes what is still open for their role. That can include a face match against the selfie from onboarding and a work permit sign-off, where the site uses them. Then access is granted and recorded, and a badge can be printed. Leaving works the same way in reverse: identify, find the open visit, check out.
An administrator sets each device to one of four modes. Check in and register lets anyone check in or out, and lets new people register. Register only is for new people. Check in or out only is for people who are already expected. Triage scans, decides and sends everyone else to a guard.

How you get in
The kiosk is a device on site. Each device is set to a mode by an administrator, which decides who can use it.
